I am startin my withdrawal process tomorrow.  I realized I not capable of tapering.  If they are in the house I will take them.  When I got off  Fentanyl I wanted off so bad that if you had placed them in my hand I would have not taken them but the pills are another matter.

I tried to taper last year and i failed miserably.  So I got rid of my pills and I start tomorrow.  I had such a hard time with the Fentanyl that I am freaking a little bit.  I am not looking forward to what the next few weeks have in store for me.  Please send up some prayers for me and encouragement if you have the time.

big hugs to ya for getting ur life back..u will b n my prayers for sure..u can do this! just have a positive attitude and try not to freak urself out as that will make u panick and make things a lil harder...how much were u using? what kind of pills were u using?....again big hugs to ya and just take it one day at a time...keep posting for support we r all here for ya and want to see u succeed.....angie ♥

Hey dude I remember when you went threw your fyntnal withdrawal  the pills are going to be a version of that same curs lots of fluids get some imodum and the highlands restful legs
this is just another narcotic same drill hot baths will bring  you some releaf rent some movies so wile your up all night you will have something to do....pray with all your heart Jesus has much grace to give and heres those that cry out his name....it helped me and was invaluable especially when it 3am and your up shaking in withdrawals hes all you got.....this ant your first rodeo doing this so just hang in there keep posting for support we all want to see you succeed good luck and God bless.......Gnarly

I know this may not seem like realllyyy helpful advice but i know it helped me. When i was tapering off suboxone i was TERRIFIED of withdrawal symptoms after i had one MAJOR bad day of vomiting, the sh!ts...horrible body aches...and migraines.

But alas i kept on tapering and changed the way i thought about it. I stopped worrying if and when the withdrawals would come...i focused on my goal. The end result. You wouldn't believe how much positive thinking comes into it. You can do ANYTHING in the world if you put your mind to it.

So, I am at the tail end of day 1 and essentially could not get out of bed except to use the restroom.  Holy crap,  I am in a world of hurt.  Thank God i did not keep the other pills or I would have surely used them today.  I have no contacts since all my meds were supervised by my doctor (ha ha, supervised addiction right).  Need to use the bathroom again so I will see if I can get my sick butt up later to update.  Cripes, how the hell did I get here!  Jeez, how stupid can I get.

There's a difference in stupid and sick!!!  And you're not stupid ok?  

Take some immodium and a warm bath if you can. Be sure and force the fluids and eat something bland.  

Keep telling yourself that you can do this!  It won't be long and you will be feeling much better. Then you can figure out how to make this the LAST time!!! ;-)

Just hang on..You ain't stupid nor I..I wonder how I got broadsided too,, But after making the decision I want no more of this crazy train, that thought became irrelevent..We are where we are and there's only one way to fix this..No more , no matter what..No matter what,no matter what....I feel for you..I'm only a couple of days ahead of you..Hang in there scoenen..It is a fight to get back to a place of relative peace within one's soul.....
