past the 1 month mark

I have done it...I have gotten past 30 days.  It feels good.  I feel even better....anybody taking the time to read this...you can do it as well..It is tough but it is worth the fight..We took our kids to Yellowstone National park and to the Black Hills South Dakota.  We saw so many awesome things that were enough to send endorphines screaming!!  A few times during the trip my husband and I looked at each other and proudly said~we did it~  what seemed like the impossible about a month ago is a thing in the past.  I have to thank this site..for the support.  I do not think I could have done it without the support and the well wishes.  Knowing that I am not some "looser" that is alone in this is very supportive.  Seeing other people doing this same battle and winning gave me the determination when the fight didnt seem worth it.
In the beginning of this I didnt think I would ever be able to "quiet" the hunger I have for these little yellow pills.  As each day goes by I do feel stronger and stronger to able to love being who I am being clean!
I look back and read this and some of you might think I sound over confident and setting myself up for failure with the confidence...I will forever be addicted to vicodin and understand this.  I just appriciate everyday I have the strenght the live clean:)

Thank You to everybody!!
I love ...."make the clean time the most sacred thing in our lives"    I really do enjoy being clean and not so long ago it was such a scary thought.  It was almost like the "unknown"  HOWEVER....it is a frame of mind worth fighting the beast for!

The "enjoy your FREEDOM"  You could not have said it better!!  It is all about being free.  I am no longer a prisoner to this...        Well...I will always have a "sentence" but I am no longer behind the bars looking out:)
