On a brighter note (if there is such a thing) - I had posted earlier today about my sister and coke (Thanks Gizzy, Kris, and all!!)  As I said, I had about a 6 year battle with xanax and have been off for over a year).  Last week we had to put my grandmother in a nursing home, and I went to visit her yesterday.   Even with all this stuff going on with my sister I am pretty proud.  I had taken all of her meds to the nursing home and given them to the charge nurse.  I guess they ordered them from their pharmacy.  At any rate, the nurse came in and returned the entire bag of meds to me.  Some of them I did not know what they were, but there was a bottle of 90 xanax, 50 zoloft, and something called seroquel??    I took them home and flushed every dang one of them down the toilet.  Then I just giggled.  (In between crying over my sister!!)  Anyway it made me feel strong and in control.

there is nothing more powerful than flushing drugs or pills. i did it a month ago and it made me sick, but somehow that gave me a lot of strength. i hope your feeling a bit better now after talking about your sister

that is great!!  Seroquel is used for people with bi-polar - it is very sedative - it is like a powerful sleeping pill - i took it before I got pregnant and while I was pregnant - I had a hard time getting off of it because I depended on it to help me sleep - I spent many night awake - but thought a good time to stop was when I brought Ryan home from the hospital - who sleeps with a newborn :)  sorry to go on - i guess i have had my battles with pills too - off and on with different ones - good for you for being strong - I giggled when I read the it because I remember flushing coke one time and thought did i just do that what a great feeling
