HI Welcome to the forum.....well it sounds like this ant your first rodeo ....you got to cut off the supply tell your doctor no more narcotics or you will be tempted to fill the scrips  your not a loser your an addict you know you got what it takes to quit but its staying quit thats seams to be the problem here ....N/A is a great start the meeting by themselves will help but to really reap the benefits you need to get a sponsor and work the 12 step program as addicts we need to change the very way we think and working the program will do that for you
when something is not working you need to step it up a notch to get results keep posting for support we all want to see you make it good luck and God bless....Gnarly

Hi Kkeef.. you are not a looser but you are a drug addict.. I tried stopping without telling my Dr. and having the opportunity to refill my monthly prescription.. needless to say it did not work.. I had to come clean with the Dr. and cancel any opiates prescribed. once you get some clean time behind you the going gets easier.. do not beat yourself up but do make a plan and stick to it. Your very life may depend on it.. Take care of yourself ok.  lesa

Hey there, your not a loser trust me we have all been there. I am going through it now and I am preg. My whole family is judging me and it hurts. I am in the midst of tapering down (with Dr's help) and the worst part for me its the physical wds. I think if I can just get through them I'd be ok but then I know the mental cravings will be right around the corner after the physical part is over. I wish I could tell you what to do but I've come to realize its totally individual to each person. My Dr is amazed cause he tapered me from 3 7.5 Hyrdo's a day to 3 5mg Hydro's a day and my body is having a absolute fit from it and he is like wow most people it doesn't bother to taper that much. I can say you do have support and feel free to message me or post away cause we are a support community. If you are prescribed them by a Dr see about a taper plan? Again its individual some people have to just do it cold turkey and some people benefit from a taper plan. Maybe look into Suboxone? Its supposed to help people get off Heroin, Pain pills etc. Only reason I am not on it is cause my Dr doesn't know if its safe for pregnancy otherwise I would have been on it already. Take care and hang in there and best of luck to you.
