Just a quick tip that may help.

I've found ginger tea can help a lot with many of the withdrawal symptoms. Here's a website that shows some of the benefits

http://bembu.com/ginger-benefits

I hope this can help a few people.

Hi, Bonnie here and I wanted to thank you all for the help and support the last 3 weeks.  Mentally I think I'm coming around, I don't feel so nutso even as I did just a few days ago.  Of course I'm finding iut that my wonderful husband is getting on my last nerve, now that my feelings aren't numbed up. I told him this last night and he very wryly said "Better find another nerve then, huh?" lol. I am back at my job now for 8 days and the doctor said I was ready for it but honestly I feel like he's full of crap on this one. I broke my left knee at work on June 16 and was off all summer. But now that I'm back it's screaming bloody murder at me.  Anyway,  I (and I shouldn't have, I think) got a few Ativan from my sis and it helps so much with the muscle spasms around the kneecap and the sleeplessness because of that.  The problem is, a few minutes after I take it (0.5mg) I can feel it barreling into my brain and it's worrisome to me.  I'm just starting to think clearly again and finding that I actually like.  Even if being clear headed means that I sometimes feel like hitting my beloved with a skillet. Hahahaha I know I should do the right thing and give the last 3 back. I sure enjoyed those 7 and 8 hours of sleep I was getting. Damn.  I know I'm an addict and I can't have it both ways. Actually I haven't had 22 days off opiates in YEARS and I don't want to lose this. I want to wish you all ((hugs)) and blessings from chilly Sunday morning in Ohio. I wish you all the strength and peace in your recoveries too. How is everyone else doing?  Love, -Bonnie-

I was going to add that in my, things that help post I'm planning on writin in a couple days.  Still need to try out a few more things to make it a wealthy list.  I have been using fresh ginger for years to help with digestive issues.  I slice it finely and suck on it or I steep it and make tea.  Vickie also mentioned vinegar.  I use Bragg organic raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar with the mother.  It has done wonders for me!  I use it in my salads as well as a drink.  I don't like the taste of it watered down, so I just do a shot and chase it with a glass of water.  I highly recommend it and make sure it is with the mother.  You can find it in any health food store.

Thanks Ronda!

I use all kinds of ginger. It is great for the Stomach that is why it is shaped like a Stomach..Ha!  I use it fresh and make a tea, this helps with the Breathing. I also have some Organic Turmeric Ginger Tea. These two together help with the Inflammation. Just like Vinegar, it works wonders.

Keep one foot in front of the other. Baby Steps at First. Always keep that Guard Up at all times..I see you Blossom each day I read your replies. Yippee!

Bless
