Hard Day 20

Today is day 20! My body feels better,I`m trying to get into a good routine, but i found myself wanting to feel that "good feeling" at one point i started to get alittle nasty again to some family. The "craveing " came from deep down in me. Just thought i would share that. I guess it`s not over t`ill it`s over. Now my heart is back to racing.  Thanks for listening

Hi Brad,

Day 20 is great and you are so much better off than you were 3 weeks ago. I still have those days. It keeps getting better every day though. You're doing so great!!

congrats for making it 20 days.  are you getting any aftercare?   it is very important to your long term recovery.  also are you getting exercise?  you need to kick start your brain to produce endorphins and the best way to do that is exercise.  keep fighting those cravings.  everytime you do you win a battle.  there are many battles on the way to winning the war.

Congratulations on day 20. Unfortunatly you will get those cravings and mood swings for awhile. This is the mental part of the addiction and requires a little more strength than the physical part. Read Cathys craving list under health pages. Whenever you get that feeling take it seriously and post. Someone will come on and help you through it. Try to do something to take your mind off of using. Don't let those thoughts linger in your head.  You have come too far to relapse and unfortunatly that is an all to common reality. Been there. Keep looking forward. You are doing great. Corey
