What day for the first

I thank god for finding this post site. Last night I knew I was going to quit today, so I went on-line to read about what to expect and stumped onto this site. There are so many people out there that completely understand and are non judgmental. I'm feeling better emotional right now. After talking with a lot of you and after receiving advice, I know there is light at the end of the tunnel. I think the hardest part will be the mental aspect. I have to constantly bang out thoughts that are trying to get me to use. It's weird like there are two of me in one brain. Reminds me of the movie " A Beautiful mind". That is a great movie and helps me to over come. I'm in school for engineering and if he can do it so can. Make my life better with my own self worth and some synthetic drug making feel it is helping.
I will be on this site for some time to come and look forward to talking and sharing with you. It helps to pass the time and I also get to talk openly about me sobering up.

Puff, I wouldn't have made it two years ago the first time I had w/d's from pills if not for this site.  I was into about day 3 if I remember, and I found this while actively trying to score a pill or two because I was feeling so horrible and couldn't quit crying about it.  Baby!!  I am a big baby, thanks to my mom and dad. Anyway, this site helped me so much.  I told my friend (who was my connection) then, don't get me that pill.  She was at my door with it, and I told her I don't want it!!  But I know I would have taken it if I had not found these people here.  It has been my aftercare for two years.  I missed last year because I was living on a farm in the middle of Texas and couldn't get online, but I managed to go thru w/d's in November by remembering what I had gone through before and remembering how great these people were and how understanding.
