hey abby, my dr put me on Clonodine for 6 days, they help with the WD, you won't get sweaty flu like feeling, they also help with RLS , tremors, BP.. but take as prescribed, not at your own will, because you need to ween off of them, even though i'm only on them 6 days, for every 2 days it's a different dose so i don't stop them CT... Good luck to ya hun!

It's not messed up, trust me. It's so typical of so many stories. We always think ours in SO insane and so unique and then we find out we're all so similar.

I would say, focus on you (which you are) and your health/detox. And don't worry about what questions may come up. One minute at a time. Keep checking w/ the peeps on this site; it has saved me during this time, too.

Thank you so much!
I have broke down and told him once about this then I quit for a month! He wasn't very supportive and said I was being a baby acting like that! I have hid this for so long now I couldn't tell him the truth cause he thinks I'm off but we don't talk about that at all! It would make things worse if not separate and spread my name around town! At least that's how I feel! When I get thru this I can look back and be thankful I did it with out telling him! I'm going to be strong enuf doing this on my own because if I tell him I would have to still do this on my own! It's really messed up!!

Abby, great job in making the decision. Don't be scared when symptoms come: they just have to, then you know you're dtoxing!

Regarding your spouse: everyone on here says you must, must, tell your closest person/wife, bf whatever, the person you are in a relationship with. If you keep a "secret" you will still be burdened by guilt and shame. Tell him!!! Read some of other posts: MANY folks were terrified to tell their guy/girl, but after they did, that's when the real recovery is started!

I've got my Epsom salt my vitamin c and vitamin b complex, water, Gatorade, and I was told tonic water also helped and I got a bottle of that! I have soup chicken, and tuna, fish, and protein shakes and bars. Everything I got was not even half of what it would have been for me to spend on the crap in a week! I'm in high spirits here and looking forward to the reward!! Tomorrow will be the start of it all, as I only had 2 today left to do me to manage getting everything I needed for recovery! Again thank you all so much for commenting on here don't leave just yet! Because even though I don't know Any of you guys you all are going to make me push thru this considering my spouse don't know and I absolutely without a doubt couldn't tell him! I only have one friend that knows this! Any suggestions on what I could tell him when he ask why I'm so sick?
