Working out really helps get rid of your anxiety for a while. I quit painkillers in late june, took the suboxone road and now I am on nothing. I still have the horrible anxiety and depression. A lot times the anxiety keeps me from going out. So I go lift weights and run and I usually feel better. Listening to pist music about overcoming and rising above the influence also helps too.

congrats to you.....my anxiety/depression hung on about 8 weeks after ct off opiates. i put my body and brain through hell and it takes time for everything to level out. as days turned into months i began to feel good and normal. everyone is different...just be patient and before you know it you ll feel great...hang in there...maria :)
Hey Jimmy.... I am STILL having some anxiety and I've been CLEAN off of Norco for 36 days...maybe it's just ME but when I find myself anxious it seems to help me if I get out of the house and go for a walk... a little exercise can go a long way with helping the anxiety... Hang in there.. you're DOING GREAT!!!
