So I have no idea what the first thing about this is. I guess I will get right to it; I am a 23 yr old women how is in some deep trouble. I have always been so strong and now I am so weak. For the past five years I have been using Oxys. I signed up for methodone and have been on the program for now 2 years. I am on 85ml. It is the worst thing I have ever done. So anyways here is my question
``How can I quit methodone and not got back to the Oxys? What should I be doing through my withdrawel?  
PLEASE PLEASE HELP, I HAVE NO ONE ELSE THAT WILL HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI welcome to the forum you have come to a good place for help...I agree with Ga Guy
on tapering off slowly and seeking out aftercare such as N/A or a substance abuse conslor...I tapered off 150ml of methadone..it took 8 1/2mo I used a formula given to me by a neo/natal nurse that brings babys off heroin methadone oxy ext...the formula goes
like this......10% drop in dose every 72 hrs it worked well for me with a few exceptions
sometimes you have to give your body an extra couple of days to adjust to the lower dose...let your body be the final judge in when to drop doses again...you can probably
do it in 4 or 5 mo at the level your on now without to much withdrawals if your experiencing a lot of them your going to fast....there is a certain amount of discomfort
that comes with methadone tapering but if done right it is manageable ...
you just got to be ok without being ok for a wile  when your doing this it is very doable and you can get free of it in a few mo if you put your mind to it...good luck and God bless....Gnarly...keep posting on your progress we will all help you
