Need support - Day 1 off opiates

Im on day one off of Vicodin and morphine abuse. Was sober for 15 months and relapsed in late August. Had been doing the Hydro the whole time and morphine for 3 weeks, Im feeling pretty bad but I refuse to give up. Does anyone know how long ti kick this? Its only been 6 weeks tops of using. Thanks!

Hey linton.That time I was using for about six weeks I went back to work on day 5.This time i still have not been able to work much.

Thanks for posting! how long before you went back to work? How about sleep?

Hi Linton,I had a similar period of use at one time and it took me about 20 days to get over it.That includes mental,energy,sleep,etc.The bad withdrawal symptoms were only a couple of days.You can do this pretty easily.just hang in there and don't mess up like I did and get feeling better and then start using for another 8 months.It will and does suk.I am on day 25 and am not even close to coming out of the woods as far as mental and energy are concerned.
