My son (30) was gonna be working on his boat all night. I was happy to hear that he wasn't going out to party. I think this was the first year since he was younger that he wasn't out partying some where. Hopefully, a little maturity is setting in.

Oh my gosh, yes it is such a worry now. My oldest is only 14, and I feel it is just beginning. He is at a friends house, and will be spending the night. The parents had a big party, and I know they will be drinking, (the adults).  But, I know what its like at that age, and  kids his age get curious.   I have called him all night...."just to say hi".
My 2 youngest are here with me......my daughter, shes 6, is sleeping right next to me now. Boy , they grow soooooooo fast. And the worrying never stops. It just changes.
I will pray for all of your precious kids to get home safely.
Positive thoughts to you all, and by the way,  Have a Great New Years Day!!!!

Yes I am very worried and concerned for all my children tonight!!!!!!  My three daughters are all out together at a private party.  My twin daughters are 18, and will be the drivers, but I do worry about the Drunks out on the roads!!  I agree, God will take care of them and the angels will be protecting them.  I am up messing around on the computer, while my husband and 7 month old baby are asleep!  I will not go to bed until they are home safe and sound!  I am calling them on their phones every hour to check on them.  I am sure they just love that, but thats the way it is!!!!!!!

I understand what you are going threw we gave our 17 year old options she could either be home by 9:45 or she needed to stay at her GFs overnight .She was to give the  car keys to the gfs mom until the am .She does not drink but we had just as many concerns with her being on the road and driving with the risk of others drinking  .She decided to go hand out with her friends until 9:30 the she came home she was not upset at all she new we we lookig out for her.She said she would just go hang out with her friends tommrow night she prefers coeing home . Lets pray everyone get threw the night safly ...
