That's great. Stop while your ahead. Only a month your wd shouldn't be too bad!!' Keep going! In a week u should be better!!'
I too used ridiculous... Hang in there, your at the part where you will start to feel better.
I've been through a couple of these withdrawls and my last one was over new years and I made it to day 6 or 7 and I gave in. I regret it, but I couldn't stand laying in bed any longer and I have a 10 year old child.
I think since everyone has such different lifestyles and family situations, maybe no one can give an answer as to how to withdrawl, how to get the damn strength of a lifetime, as I call it.
To get throught the days, I went through anger, played TONS of music, sad and happy depending on my mood. Nirvana to N'sync lol. But sleep I hear is the best thing you can do during a damn withdrawl.
Its day three, the cold sweats are almost gone. I just feel super sick to my stomach. And i am exhuasted! I can barely walk down the hall without feeling like im goin to passout. Anything i can do?
Id trade with you in a second 5 years up to 25 10/325 norcos a day you better stop now,,,you will be an addict for life if you can go thru what your going thru ,you couldnt ever deal with what most of us go thru id pay money to feel the way you do
consider yourself lucky that youve only been abusing for a month. ive been using for 5 years on and off and its terrible. stop now and dont look back. it is a blessing in disguise that you cant get anymore. your in a great place right now. nobody knows you can still get away without embarrasing yourself in front of family and friends. believe me it is so shameful to have to face ur family and put them through this with you. i beg you to move on and forget about it. the physical withdrawals will start to get better now the worse has passed. use imodium for the runs and stomach cramps. drink lots of water and gatorade. melationin or 5htp for sleep. multi vitamin in the morning and omega 3 fish oil 3 times a day. excersize as much as you can (it is a natural antideprresent) take hot baths. all these things will help your brain recover quickly and help you feel better physically. trust me ive been through it all. i had my doubts about these things but they do help with withdrawal and recovery. you will see significant improvement. go out buy this stuff help yourself. you wont regret it. you should also join a spiritual program. i dont know your beleifs but its great to feel like your a part of something bigger, you have to have faith and its hard to go through it alone. god is there to help you. and we are all here to support you. you can message me anytime if you need support. As i said you havent been using for long - you are in a great place. you will feel great in no time. you have your entire life ahead of you. this is just a bump in the road. i will pray for you.i hope u make the right decisions and realize you can recover very quickly. all the best - Isaac
Hang in there girl!! I'm tapering off as we speak and nobody in my life knows what's going on so I'm suffering in silence. It's hard but just keep focused on the light at the end of the tunnel. You will get a lot of support here too. This is such a great site with amazing people who care.
Thanks so much everyone! I'm going to do this!!
yes you will survive. Your emotions are crazy because your brain is all over the place right now and does not know what to do. I promise it gets better one your brain decides you are serious about no pills and starts working again. The benedryl can help with sleep as well. Good thoughts going your way.
My emotions are killling me. I just wanna cry, for the fact like i feel this horrible.. And for the fact that i did this to myself. I knew this would happen eventually.. Just not this soon. And its really embarrassing. No one in my family know, none of my friends, not my boyfriend who lives with me no one.. So im all alone. And i have to just be like im juuusstt sick. Ill be fine. :(
Ridiculous is the very word I used when I realized I had a problem. Try to sleep & hydrate. Goodluck to you!!!
Yea ive had like 5 showers today because the sweat is just unbearable. Sleep is just outtt of the question. I cant even keep water down for too long. But i will try the melatonin. And yea i dont evver wanna feel this way again. This is ridiculous.
So stop now...don't go looking for more. Take care of the symptoms. Gatorade, carnation breakfast or other food type drink to keep you hydrated. Dehydration makes you feel worse and seems to make the withdrawals last longer. Lots of hot baths or showers. Benedryl for the sneezes or yawning. Imodium for the trots if they are getting bad. Some feel the trots is the body getting rid of the toxins..up to you how you want to handle it. If you are trying to work..I would take the imodium. Good luck and now you know how crappy you feel after only a month of dependence. Run away from them...now! It can only get worse..if you keep going and find more. Just walk away.
U r not alone. About 4 days. An taking one more will make u feel better but u will also fall into a black hole that will be harder than what you are dealing with now to get out of, I use to be prescribed hydros I had a friend that had percocets & I thought those where like the worst drug ever (it is). I did one w her when I ran out of hydros. Big mistake. Take melatonin to help u sleep & there is no "EASY" button. U will feel better in a few days tho sweat it out it won't last forever. :). It's worth it
hopefully by tomorrow you may feel a little better. Most of us have been on longer and usually feel like crap anywhere from 4-7 days.
