In need of suboxone withdrawl help!

Hello Everyone,
I'm brand new to this group. I'm trying to quit suboxone cold turkey and more than anything, I'm in need of some major inspiration! I withdrew off oxycodone and Percocet cold turkey a few years back and then I got addicted yet again and I have been on suboxone for about 2.5 years now. I'm very sick of relying on subs and I know I'm too addicted to them. I actually took my medication too fast and now I'm out. Of course today is Christmas and nobody is going to sell me anything. Every other time this has happened to me, I have been able to find something to buy. I just want to be over with this devil stuff. I have had stomach problems for quite a few years now and I'm thinking that the subs might be the cause. Anyway, I realized a few days ago that I was about to run out and I tapered down the last few days. I was taking about 16-8 mgs a day, depending on the day. During my last 36 hours, I had 4 mg worth spread in pieces throughout the day. My biggest symptom is the sweating! I can handle the vomiting and the runs, but it's the huge amount of sweating that makes me uncomfortable. Thankfully, just sitting next to a fan really helps. I'm going to try my hardest to go to work the next few days. I keep getting very close to having a panic attack thinking about the next 3-4 days. Will the suboxone withdrawl be similar to my oxy/perc withdrawal? If so, I should be feeling myself again by Monday or Tuesday. My last withdrawal was after a crazy party on a Saturday night (so let's say at least 50 mg of percs and 120-200 mg of ocs) I slept most of the day on Sunday and then I woke up on Monday with the sweats and feeling awful. I took that week outta work and I woke up on Thursday morning feeling fantastic. So it was a good solid three days of hell. Today was my first day taking nothing and I'm almost at 24 hours of no subs and I'm already experiencing sweats and a weird feeling in my stomach. So far, it feels similar! Will it, be better or worse than my prior experience? Also, anyone with words of encouragement? I would be forever greatful! Thank you!

I really want to tell you it won't be bad but I can't. This stuff can be hell to get off of but it is worth it. I came off Norco after 5 yrs use and today makes 31 days (almost 32).
Though it isn't the same thing, I did not have an easy detox. I didn't start feeling better till abt day 20 even then it was a slow process, still an every day process however alot more rewarding. Pls speak to ScarrieAnne. She was on the same thing and made it through.
It does get better though: Wait till the day you realize you no longer have to count pills and ~then~ plan your day! That seriously feels awesome! Oh and you start to -feel- again. Let me guess; do you never feel happy? Not really sad but just there, auto-pilot if you will? You can get LIFE  back!
You can do this but you really have to want to do it. The is tons of support here and so many people going through some form of opioid detox right now (its a little astounding). You're not alone.
Ps - I know that every time you go back to it you're detox will be harder each time. This was my third try, the hardest, and the longest Ive gone without. I have no intention of going back. I hope you feel the same.
Best Wishes,
Chels

No, this will not be the same w/d because subs are alot stronger, and the taper u did was not slow enough to make any real difference in the w/d off this devil. I was on the subs for 7 years...my reg dose was 24mg a day. I dont tell u this to be ugly at all, i tell you this b/c when i came on here a year ago saying almost the exact same thing u just wrote, some people on this site were nice enough to not blow smoke up my ***, they told me the truth. The subs detox is different, and you can do it for sure, but NO, by Monday u will not be better.
If you are truly ready to be done, i will be more than willing to help u with the list of things you will need to stock. Do u have to go to work on Monday? I dont want to make your anxiety any worse than im sure your already doing....and your anxiety will be affected during this process, but if u want it bad enough, u can do this. It takes 2/3 days for real strong w/d symptoms to start coming on b/c of the stickiness of the subs and the long half life. Please post back if this is something you truly want to do....because we can help with it. You are in my thoughts....

Someone will be along in awhile.  Just remember it's Christmas
I've yo-yo on Norco, but zero experience w subs.
But, for a person that wants off, that was some party.
