im 45 i abused opioids for 3 years 30 10mlgpercs a day im going on 65 days clean im still feeling bad no energy lay in bed all day cant sleep cant eat sweats how long before dopeamine levels become normal does your receptors ever heal im lost im hitting a wall and need info please help

Hi tahoe222. I am only going into my 4th day c/t so dont know if I am the one to give advise yet but what you are describing after 65 days does not sound right. I remember what I was like 2 months after I quit a few years ago and I felt full of life again, so it really sounds to me like you are completely deficit in iron. This could make anyone not even be able to drag themselves out of bed for days. I have been extremely deficit in iron before and thats how I got. You need to see a doctor and tell him everything and that you are concerned because you should be starting to feel better by now. You could also be aenemic with very low blood pressure or have very low blood sugar which would explain not only the lack of energy but also the sweats. I would ask the doctor to do complete tests for all of these things. I feel it is one of them.

If you are 65 days clean and still just laying around you really do need to see a doctor.  Something else must be going on with you as this doesnt sound like normal wd's........sara

There is no expert forum for addiction. Actually there is but there is currently no doctor on staff, for lack of a better term.

So, as I suggested in your first post, I believe you need to see your doctor regarding this. You stated that you lay in bed sweating 20 hours a day. That concerns me. I hope you DO see your doctor. Let us know how you make out. I hope you get to feeling better soon.
