I also take seroquel, lamictal, lexapro, st johns wart, l tyrosine all for depression and bipolar. Will I have serious withdrawals if I quit now? Will all my depression meds help soften the blow mentally? Anyone been ok when xeroxing off tramadol??

I was prescribed neurontin for Tramadol WD symptoms. I have been taking the Tramadol for 5 years at 8 / 50mg tabs a day . How much gambepin did you take a day?? I'm really afraid of the Wdls because they are so severe!

5 days off tramadol for me...and gabapentin (nuerontin) has been my saviour. I've wd before, on account of running my prescription out before refill is due several times, and it was hell. This time....completely different. I have been drinking tons of gatorade and smoothies, but the gabapentin is my best friend. I actually don't want to go back this time. Feel better than I have in a long time. Sounds like you have an arsenal to help you...you can do it, and feel good about doing it.....you deserve it. Keep posting please...S

Hi!  If you have only been on them for a month, you shouldn't have to worry with WDs.  And the ADs you're on would certainly help if you did as far as the depression.  The only reason you would have to worry with serious WDs would be if you have been an opiate addict in the past, then that changes things.  Tramadol can get you very quickly if you have had substance abuse issues in the past.

I hope it goes well.  I got off of them 2 years ago.  Best thing I ever did!  They are the devil!
