Hi Jimmy when I went thew withdrawals the worst symptom I had was the anxiety it felt like there was just a dead weight on my chest...it still bothers me but not as bad as it once did.....again time heals it seam like the loger you get between you and you DOC
the better it gets....right now it still bothers me in the morning and then at around 8 at night I could set my watch by it...I have noticed its not as bad as it use to be but im really looking forward to the day its gone completely untill then I guess I just have to deal with it
good luck and God bless.......Gnarly

I have been clean for almost 3. Years and still have a little anxiety but I'm told it has a lot to do with the level of your addiction your drug of choice as well as your preffered method of use. However long it lasts for you it is worth the trade off so don't give in keep on keepin on .... Stay clean

I am not personally but it is certainly not uncommon. Anxiety is a very real part of withdrawal and recovery.

I always suggest to people that they go for a good check-up after they get clean. We abuse our bodies and minds for so long and so much could be underlying. Go visit your doctor, have your liver checked, etc. and please talk about the anxiety.

Take care of yourself.
