Life--Staying Clean

Not really a question. Just have been here since Feb 2008 and can not get clean all together. I have to say that I lvoe this forum. And i know I want this or I wouldn't waste my time being on here and I have treid but have not put my lal into it. Even though i take full responsiblity for my own actions alot of this has to do w/ the boyfriend or my son's father. We dont get along anymore, no romance because I cant stand him be cuz he does nothing. He doesn't work he needs to clear up a warrant before he can get a jon and basically when he works a day here and there he will say lets get something. So my son's chrsitening is coming up and I am going ot be moving september 1st- still looking ofr a place but definatly moving. I told him he is not soming w/ me we dont even get along nad he hasnt worked in over 6 months and i have a son to take care of. I want to be clean for him. He is the best boy i nthe world and my best friend and I dont need the bullcrap. But i have decided as of tommorw  I am goign to work so hard to stay away fro mthe **** and just feel like **** for alittle while. i ahve small amounts of subox i will take. i have tried to do this numerous amounts of time. but i have a little lfet i will do it today and then thats it and especillay cuz i owe my guy moneyi kindo f did on purpose so i could nt get any thing else. i cant afford to pay hi mand get something. well i just needed to post. i have not heard from anyone lately and i am kind of bumming. i really would liek to have some more friend s at this forum to check in w/.

than kyou so much for caring. i have a couple people that i talk to here fro mthe forum off and on and it relaly helps me to know that i am not alone. i have been clean numerous amounts of time. but this time it is really physical that is holding me back

Hi Carissa!  Just read your post and sounds like your willing to take the right path this time to focus on your addiction.  First thing you have to do is stop being a co-dependent towards your b/f.  He needs to own his own problems and fix them.  We as co-dependents seem to think we can "repair" everything and make everything right.  Concentrate on your own path and direction your about to take and keep you and your beautiful son safe and happy.  And remember....it takes a brave person to get clean... keep up the good work.

Hi Carissa.........Sounds like you really want to get clean and you will be giving yourself and your son the greatest gift ever, being clean.  We are all here to support you and you are not alone.  As for the bf i have to agree with desperate........keep posting      sara

hey carrissa. sounds like you really want this. also sounds like bf needs kicked to the curb. just my oppinion. get clean and trust me on this one, everything else will fall into place.
