HI ....I just wanted to encourage you with your taper....I followed your journey off the fentnal
and congrats on 25 days free of that.....your withdrawal this time shouldn't be as bad your doing everything you can tapering to make it as eazy as possible...just dont let the fear from your last withdrawal enter into the equation this wont be as bad...hang in there and just stay disciplined with your taper...dont yo/yo your dose up and down taper down and stick to it otherwise the taper will be ineffective your doing great so far keep up the good work
keep posting for support where all here to help...you don't have to walk this out alone
good luck and God bless.....Gnarly
I am really happy to hear that your husband is supportive. That will help you so much. Stay focused on the end prize and keep up the positive thinking......sara
Many posters here (myself included) have found that after the initial rebound pain from the opiates subsides that non prescription pain meds are adequate or just using non steroid antiinflammatories does the trick.
I found this to be true and that my rheumatoid arthritis pain is less since I stopped opiates because they cause a rebound pain.Tylenol extra strength and ibuprofen is all I need now.
Good luck in your taper and final jump off.
You can guess from my name that I am a pharmacist as well.
Ballgame- How much longer is your taper? When are you thinking of stopping?
My back hurts but these pills have done so mych damage both mentally and physically I really have to believe there is something else out there to help me either heal or deal with my pain. All I have is hope and God.
Glad the husband supports you
I have back pain too and working a taper. My wife tells me I'm not addressing the pain problem by getting off. She is right but one thing at a time
good luck
