Important Day

Good Morning everyone! I made it though yesterday it was pretty bad for awhile intil I did what you everyone told me to do.Get up and MOVE and it worked. Today is my first group meeting I'm alittle scared I've always keeep my addition (a secret) ha ha! Yesterday afternoon the sun was shining it was beatiful and for the first time me and my hubby took a long drive together and talked...I told him everything thats been going on the last 5 yrs we have been together.After I got started it felt so good no more lies. He just let me talk and talk which I've never let my real self come out I always had secrets. It felt great and he told me he loved me no matter what has happened just don't keep nothing else from him. And keep talking!! Any way it was a great afternoon! I'm sitting here listening to the birds singing or waking up and I'm got a smile on my face! Everyone out their I hope you have a good day and stay strong your in my prayers.

i am loving the way you are thinking. hubby's right. keep on talking, no matter if you think you may sound nuts or stupid. get asuch off your chest as you can. you will be lighter. keep posting. keep working hard. you can do it!    sway

You did great talking about it, keeping our addiction a secret is dangerous, at least for me it is. I bet talking to him feels like a huge weight off your back and also holds you accountable. I see your feeling some joy again, hehe. Congrats on those 12 days and keep moving forward.

Whoo hoo!!  You sound very happy indeed.  Keep that frame of mind and keep the communications going.  It's a good lesson to us all who have, or who are, harboring thoghts that loved ones will reject us if we let our secrets be known.
