May Roll Call Time!!!!

It's that time again everyone!! Brag time!! Welcome to all the newcomers to the forum. At the beginning of each month I post "roll calls" which are everyone's opportunity to share with everyone their clean time. It doesn't matter how long it is-1 day, month,or year. We all have to start at Day 1. For some of us we need to take it hour by hour and then work into the day to day.

Everyone's journey down this road is different. For some getting clean is the easy part;it's staying clean that's the challenge. I think we all can agree that the mental aspects of withdrawals are worse than the physical aspect. For this month as you share your clean time please also share how you battled the mental part during your initial withdrawal. For myself it was this site. Anytime I had a tough time mentally I would get on here.

I am an addict. I have 843 days clean. Thank you everyone for your support. I'm always here if anyone ever needs to talk. We're all in this fight together. Guard your clean time!! Know that this fight isn't easy-nothing worthwhile ever is. For some there will be slips along the way. Pick yourself back up and start again. Work your recovery. Sorry for the lengthy post!!! Stay strong everyone!!!!

AWESOME WORK ON CLEAN TIME EVERYONE!!!

Remember that the only person that can define you, is you!  Your hard-won sobriety is a badge of honour my friend.  Shame cannot exist when you act from love and not fear. The only acceptance you need is your own.

Keep facing your fears everyone and keep living in love!

82 days opiate free!  It was a hell of a ride, but i am so thrilled to live life to its fullest.  I now can see, feel, and think clearly and life is a beautiful thing that i am so grateful for.  I have my up's and down's but recently i learned that is what life is all about.  It saddens me that i am labeled an addict for the rest of my life, as i believe society does not accept that, but hey i am clean and proud of me.

Great job little bit, if you want something bad enough it will come. Simply an outstanding display of determination.
On a side note I have to thanks you for assisting my wife julia back in early may. She discovered this site a posted a plea to help her husband.
You jumped right in as usual. You sent her an amazing  note with suggestions, guidance and praise. She was extremely terrified, but here I am on day 7 today. WOW!
She showed me her original post yesterday, and your response, and I can't thank you enough for the support to her and me.
