Checked after I posted and it's #10 on the linked list in the post before mine. I should add that it's extremely short and to the point and is a small book you can carry in your pocket.
"The Miracle of Mindfulness" by Mr. Hahn. The only one you'll ever need. He's Buddist, but the book is non-religious.

This is a daily meditation book I have..it deals w/ all kinds of issues..and guides you to meditate about it in a healthy way...it is a great book...I got it yrs. ago, but it is a very comforting book...these are some of the titles of the meditations: Getting Our Needs Met, Trusting Ourselves, Be Who You Are, Rejecting Shame, Dealing with Painful Feelings,Separating from Family Issues, Denial.......anyway, you get the picture.
The name of the book is "The Language of Letting Go" by Melody Beattie.
There are so many meditations that I can relate to that I say..."OMG...that's just how I feel." I highly recommend it....check it out!!..

meditation is a mind set that you learn to put yourself into. One of the first steps in meditaion is to have a relaxing enviroment. sit or lie down find that place in your mind were you can get away from everything. (your happy place) control your breathing and just let everything else escape. that is the basics of meditation.
