I tapered and it worked for me but I had many things in place to keep me accountable. My taper did help the severity of the wd but not the duration. I still had to put in the full 7 days or so, 3 days sick and the other 4 recovering. I tapered down till I just couldnt go any lower and then I jumped off. I had the clonodine and the needed vitamins and juices handy too. I am so happy to finally go through the day without the constant highs and lows of my addiction.
Good luck
I agree with everyone else. Tapering down just prolongs the mental game. I was taking upwards near 15 10/325 Norcos in the end and went cold turkey. Of course that first week really sucked and took week off from work to do it. I wish the best for you and hope you do well.

Once we cross the line of addiction there's no going back to a reg. dosage without the meds being distributed.. at the amount you are on I would just take the jump Get rid of the pills you have.. the constant wd can drag out for awhile as you are feeding your addiction in drops.. The 3 to 4 days of the harder wd is just that 3 to 4 days.. not much time in the scheme of how much they have taken from us.. Congrats on the taper now finish what you started and get you life and Freedom back. I wish you well.. lesa
I was scared to death about w/d...The diazphine really helped. More of mental cravings after day 3 or so..Have to just do c/t..Good Luck
Hello, 30 days ago I was taking 90-120mg a day..My Doc said taper down..I knew this would never work for me. I had 55 3omg that on flushed down the toilet..and went c/t.
Go to your doc and get some sort of Benzo and Clondine for sleep..W/D were not as bad as i thought. Worst was lack of sleep, yawning, and sneezing..You just have to make up your mind to do it! Taper will not work. 4-6 days of feeling like crap like the flu. But if I can do it..You can too! Good Luck and keep posting
