My husband is in rehab

hey all-i dont know where else to turn. Im so upset.  My husband is in rehab for prescription pills.  he's been there since feb 26.  He has insurance through me-but he was so addicted to pain killers he went to multiple hospitals in one day.  he used his brothers name a number of times.  He also used my bros name-my bro paul doesnt even have any credit.  Today is what really upset me.  We have a 3 year old together-he used our son patricks name.  Im so mad and angry-i am trying to support him but how low can you go?? Im mad at the hospital for taking him when he obviously didnt have a ID.  I need advice.  He is already facing legal trouble.  I dont want him to go to jail but it  might do him some good.I need advice-i feel so low and am tired of crying.  I dont want this to be affecting my son later in life):.

So,his current hospitalization/rehab is under your son's name? And he's covered under your insurance?  Not sure how this happened. The rehab usually confirms coverage at time of admission.  I would call the rehab and tell them his real name so that none of this falls back on YOU as being complicit.

Wow I am so sorry he has committed id theft with many different people I am sure they all have a choice to press charges if they would like.As for your son call the credit bureau right away let them know his identity has been used .I don't know what they will do with regard to charges .Maybe you should ask a lawyer what happens? Can you press charges? Then you will have to decide if thats what you want to do ? I am glad he is in rehab did he do it on your own or was he forced ?How long will he be there ?
How much was he taking and what was he taking ?
