Congratulations on what must be Day 16 today! That is a Wonderful accomplishment!
I did online meetings too when I first started and still go to them today! I have made some really great friends in them! In fact some days I like them more than face to face meetings cause I don't have to get out of my PJs!!! :)
Hope you are doing well!
Keep letting us know how you are getting on! ♡
Oh good, I'm so glad that you found the meetings. I sat in on one right before I told you about it, I didn't say anything just "listened," and I sat in on one two nights ago as well. It is easy when you can't physically get to one. They have them sometimes during my lunch hour also, so I plan on doing that. Once I get a little more comfortable, I will actually GO to one in person. I'm so glad that you are doing good, in the blink of an eye, you will be on day 41 (or whatever day it is for me, I forget and I lost count after day 30). Although time seems to stand still for the first week ish, it goes so fast, and in no time you will feel WAY better and look back on that first week and think, wow, time was moving and it actually went alot faster than my brain was allowing me to think. Good job on not taking a pill for the stress. Did you read my post on your other thread about the hydroxyzine medication? It is basically a prescription Benedryl, but it doesn't make you as sleepy and it works better and is used for more stuff than OTC Benedryl. Congrats on your success!!
I like the online meetings and use them whenever im stuck at home and cant get to one, they also give an extra boost of anonymity so i can feel comfortable sharing silly little things i may not want to talk about otherwise, keep at it, and i would suggest trying local meetings when you can because you can really get support there! Congrats on making it this far!
Oops, I meant congrats on day 11!
Yay for you! I'm so glad for you, sounds like you went in w/ an opened mind. I don't know where I'd be w/o my meetings. Oh, yes, I do..not clean!
Day 9 is great. Give yourself a break and remember you are still technically detoxing right now. You'll start to feel more consistently better in the next few weeks. Keep pluggin.
