I got my energy back a lot faster than the other folks on here I guess.  For me it was a couple of weeks and then I was feeling fine(physically).

Of course that was also where I started thinking about getting more pills as well because it would obviously be ok since I was no longer hooked and they were so wonderful etc.

For me, coming off oxys and then subs for a several years, the groups of days are as follows:  1-3 day 3 was harsh.  Day five through 8, felt like I had the flu.  Day 9-18, mix of good and bad days.  Hardest part is planning days and nights.  Bc I would have no idea what mood, anxiety and depression level would be.  Day 19-26 everyhing is coming together.  However it is has been so long since normalcy, that I'm not sure if I'm there yet.  The cravings are still not there, bc the memory of the wd's ae still fresh.  Have a pool party on sat and I Think I'll be okay.  Good luck mouse, just try to put your life on back burner for a few weeks.

Fatigue will gradually decrease with the hardest times between 3 weeks to two months. After two months sleep should start coming easier but as everyone said, it is different for each person.  I'm not going to ramble about the benefits of exercise but since your'e irritable, why not put that ENERGY to some use.  Get angry and go to the gym; walk or run a mile on the treadmill, lift some weights, drink, drink, drink plenty of water, long hot shower, some Excedrin and some caffeine.

It's gets better but you're body is adjusting and that's a good thing.

If I may make a suggestion, look into Crave Control pills. I honestly felt the difference on my first day with my mood, focus, and energy. Today I got out of bed and started cleaning and I'm on day 2 of withdrawals. Check into my other 2 posts about the pills. Good luck

I understand you being irritable!  I was and BAD!  Honestly, though, it's not going to help anything.  So try to stay positive, ok?  That will help you more than anything you can do!

Noone can give you an exact day count for this.  It does take "time" to get our mind and body healed again after all the abuse.  Each day you are clean is one more day closer to getting back to feeling good again.  You have been given good advice by the above posters.  Just hang in there.  It will get better........sara

Here's the deal.  There is no answer that fits each person.  Vitamins help, especially Bs.  Walking or any exercise REALLY helps.  Eating right helps.  All these things will speed it up, but if you are looking for "July 16th your energy will return" that isn't going to happen.  The main reason no one can tell you is that we all have, in the beginning, days where we have pretty good energy and then days where we feel dead to the world again.  And then you will have a half a day one way and half the other.  Just see how it plays out.  And take some B12.  Are you getting enough sleep?

I just started a "stress B- complex" vitamin... that helped a lot. Not sure if you have tried that or not?? I'm exhausted 24/7 on or off pills! I feel your pain. It *****!

I am very sure vicki is right... as you are on day 6, I am on day 4 off of 120-140mgs of percs and didn't taper. So far my experience has been VERY different from anything I have read and prepared for. I suffered very minimal symptoms and did not taper at all. I don't feel like running a marathon today, but I believe I could my normal house chores, shower, and take my daughter for a small walk (if it's not too hot.. yesterday it was 100) I hope you get your energy back soon. I sure remember how wiped out I felt yesterday when a stray cat found its way into my house and I spent 20 min trying to get it out of my house. after I succeeded, I collapsed for the rest of the day!!!  Good luck and wishing energy your way!!

No one can give you a day count. It's different for everyone.  You're still early in your detox so just keep moving forward, exercise, and don't focus on how tired you are...

All the best~
