Needing help..

This is my 4th day off pain pills and i feel like crap.. How long is this going to last?  All I want to do is go grab a pill n be on my way, but I know that's not what i need to do.. I have quite cold turkey and now am wondering if I should go to a Dr.

Help I don't know what to do.

Welcome, s....i agree with the above comments, its incredibily difficult, but try....gatorade and lots of it, get outside, i know thats extremely hard, but it helps...post here often, someone is always here :-) you CAN do this!!!   S

Hey, you are almost over the hump!  W/d peak at 3-5 days so just HANG ON!  Hydrate, distract your brain...Music, TV, movies, a book...Force yourself to go outside for a walk.  Exercise goes a long way to activating the natural endorphins that have been numbed out by opiates.
Have you cut off all connections to the pills?  This is so important right now as your brain will find any excuse to use when you're suffering.  You need to set yourself up for success.  You gotta fight for your life right now...One moment at a time.  Deep breaths and lots of self love.  You may not realize it right now, but you've come a long way...You don't want to go back.  You're worth it.

Hi and welcome! It depends on how much you were taking, how long, and your body chemistry. Day three was the worst for me. You've made it this far, don't give up! I didn't get anything from the doctor, just used the Thomas recipe, especially the Immodium ;)  Others have gotten help from their doctors and can provide better advice about that than I can. Just wanted to offer encouragement. It will get better. Posting here really helped me a lot when I was going through wd. I hope you stick around :)
