Look at you!! That's awesome and hang in there. If you look up the Thomas Recipe, most people should avoid the benzodiazepines/ they keep the mid-brain drugged and slows healing. But sometimes people have others control them and they can aide with anxiety and there is a blood pressure med called Clonidine that can help with anxiety/sleep. Of course you'd have to go through a dr. Some can sleep after a night or three, some not so lucky. Good multivitamins really help and potassium magnetism if your legs hurt. Way to go! What pain med? How many mg where you up to in a day? How many meds will you be putting down at once? Did you Taper or just Stop???
You can set yourself up right now by drinking tons of water. Go look at the Emergen-C and Airborne for all of the ones that are Immune builders and the Electro-Mix. These you can add to water too. If you eat very healthy that will be one thing on your side. Pick up some Protien powder and add some berries. Berries are high in antioxidants. You might want to pick up some Magnesium and D-3 for sleep or Melatonin, however the electrolyte-mix has some good mineral in it. Make sure you have some Epsom salt for those baths. You will go through some stages of w/ds but it will not harm you. It is just a bit uncomfortable. The physical will be over soon and it is the Mental that takes some time. These type of meds Change both body and the Chemical makeup of the Brain. This is the part that has to adjust back after we remove these Stims. Hang onto that Patience and in Time you will be OK. Maybe put some aftercare in place so you do not go back to using these for other reasons then pain. Not sure if you where just Dependent on them or became Addicted to them. That right there is a very fine line. WE will be here for you all the way!! YOU can do it!!
