I thought i would be going back to  see dr bowes but i wont as i have been informed by email that i will have to pay £50 per session money i do not have so back to square one for me . What do i do now as i live on state benifits James

Pharma  Im busy decorating my own house slowly but getting there Kim has been visiting her mom quite a lot and our daughter so we have been getting out the house> If only i could get the whole house finished but we have to do it bit by bit wen we have got spare pennys we buy more it all goes on the house But after iv done my own house i would not mind doing a bit of gardening or painting anything to bring a few axtra pounds in Thanks Pharma ,,,,James

James...you are bored out of your skull and need some activities.
Is there a bowling league or church group that you and Kim can join.
If Kim can't bowl she can watch.
Or darts or some other sport that dose not require a lot of money and keeps you away from drugs.
Are there handyman jobs you could hire out for like painting,cleaning,gardening.
If you can't afford a doctor perhaps a minister will help you.
Just don't give up and you have to approach your life differently because you are different now.

Yes Laurel your right our NHS is in a mess our goverment are trying to get disabled ppl back to work. They even had Kim go see a private doctor to get her back to work and Kim has a terminal illness yes i agree Laurel the NHS and my country is in a mess and getting worse ,,,,James

I couldn't agree more that the health care system stinks.

Now I am going to give you that stupid lecture that everyone hates. Nothing in life that is handed to us is worth having. We, as addicts and abuse survivors, are fighters. You did not get clean from H without putting up a fight. And maybe not today, but tomorrow you can tell us that the fight was worth it. Look at all you have EARNED since you put the drug down. Now you have to fight again. You know it is worth it so put on your walking shoes and go to every government agency whose door isn't locked and fight to get the help you need. Don't look at it as a punishment, look at it as an accomplishment and be proud of yourself.

Okay, I am done. Keep your chin up buddy!

as you said, maybe your doctor can help you here and how about some organization for abused people ?  it might be some information in their webs about people in your situation?

it's a shamed there is no more help from the national health service and now they are cutting costs even denying vital cancer medications :(

When i was doing heroin. This might offend some ppl but i was a dealer , a theif ,i robbed other dealers i done many things that im not proud of. So no i cant afford £50 per week to see dr Bowes i did not know i had to pay as the first session was free. Why cant ppl like me and many others who were seriously sexualy abused in the care of others recive free conciling seems like you have to pay for any kind of abuse. But if i was hit with a bus i would be treated for free. Now i will have to make an appointment with my doctor to see if he/she can get me free counciling The national health service in this country should get there priorities right and treat abuse or car accidents all for free. Iv never found it so hard to get treated with sexual abuse  the root of my drug addiction  RIDICULOUS ,,,,,,,James

HI James im sorry to here the jam your in...but check into subsudese for low income house holds it may take some digging but if you look you can probably find some assistance I get all my consoling free along with mental health care im bipolar if it wasent for subsdized programs I would have to do without...good luck and God bless your friend Mark
