Opiate Dependence to Suboxone

Should i tapper down on the opiate then stop for 24hrs? would that be better or should i just try and go 24hrs from the jump? any help would be great. first time trying to get off opiate use with Suboxone.

i dont have one, no health insurance, money and i have saved up 30 suboxone to do this
