Oxy withdraw

Im on day three from freeing my life from an oxy addiction.   My question is when am I gonna be able to sleep normal again.  Last night I couldn't sleep one bit, as well as the day before.  When will it get better for me.  I will have to say, that I still feel crappy, but not as bad as I did yesterday!

I alternated different sleep meds every night in order not to become addicted to something else.  I used tylenol PM, ambien, xanix, benogryl, etc.  On about my 6th day, I finally colapsed into a uninterupted sleep of about 6 hours.

It's unfortunate about the sleep issue.  As it is, we have no energy in detox and the insomnia triples it.  I know you're exhausted, but you'll finally get a little sleep soon.

Expect to experience insomnia for some time, so you may want to try and get some medication so you can get on with your life.

Best wishes.

For some, sleep is the last to restore to its normal habits. So you do have to give it time. Try melatonin, OTC sleep aid. It worked for me. Warm baths, sleep in there if you have to.

As you know, everyone is different. For me, and I am also an Oxy Addict in recovery, sleep was the last thing to get back to normal. It seemed like forever, but I was also taking about 960mgs a day (12 80's) and went cold turkey the first time. It was bad. But I did it. So it does take time, but you can do it. You never know, you could be sleeping by tonight. Good luck...

It does come, I promise. In the mean time, try melatonin or TylenolPM etc..
Go for long brisk walks and then take magnesium and calcium at night, too.
