I'm not sure what's wrong with my husband....

Right now i am scared.. My husband is sick. i need your advise!!!! i will tell you about him and then his symtoms, so maybe u can understand better. my husband is 31yrs old, always has been very healthy, just had some problems with his nose, it felt like one side was blocked, he had a lot of polups. he had surgery on the 13th of jan. they were able to remove everything and straighten his nose it was a 3 and a half hour surgery. it was all tested and none of it was cancer. the surgery went well. he recovered well. but my concern is the doctor put him on vic's 7.5mgs 2 months before surgery he mostly took 2 a day and then it went to 4 a day. latley its been 6 or more, he has admited he was addicted and intended on stopping. but for the past week he has still gottin terrible headaches like he did before and sometimes he will turn pale white. and he has dark circles under his eyes. he is sleeping better because he can breath great at night, i listen to him and he is so peaceful, unlike before his surgery. i hav talked to his doctor last week about the headaches and paleness. he said he was normal because of all the antibototics and steriods he was on before the surgery. but it is getting worse, i am worried, he said he never feels good anymore and i am watching him go into depression right in front of me, but i can't help him, nothing works. tonight his skin is cold and he is sweating really bad in his sleep. i took his temp. and it was 98.8. i took his blood pressure and it was 138/78.. does anyone hav any advice....

You say maybe 4 or 5 today, but you dont know for sure, maybe you should start counting his pills everyday and you will know how many he does take. If he is sleeping maybe he should just rest, could it be the flu or bug? His surgery has been over, he shouldn't be on vics anymore anyway. I am sorry I am not helping. Just keep a eye on him and good luck.

the doctor prescribed it 1 to 2 tabs every 4 to six hours. he won;t let me call his doctor! i begged him, he is asleep right now. his total today has been maybe four or five. should i pull him out the door? to go to the hospital?

No doctor here ,,,,,,,I would put in another call to the Dr. and then I would be off to the  emergancy room  If this is normal  did the doc say when it should get better? Did the doc increase his vic's........Does he know how many he is takiing.  Things to think about I wish you luck......maybe others will post and give you  better guidannce

Is his doctor aware of how many pills he's taking a day? Is your husband still in pain,does he NEED to take the pills at all anymore,for the pain? Does he have a past history with addiction ? What you are describing could very well be from the pills but I'm not a doctor,thats just my opinion.

when did he take his last pill?
how long has he been white and pale?
he could be going thru withdraws, which at that dose and length taken he will.
