Am I having withdrawal? Or am I just crazy?

So....I've been taking OxyContin 20mg once a week on my off days for a few months, for the high.  I didn't take them one week and when I woke up I had a severe panic attack. I woke up my skin was pale, I couldn't see my veins, I just freaked out. Ever since then, I'm always worrying its going to happen again. My anxiety is so high right now, I'm depressed, i always want to sleep, heart rate is up, diahera, loss of appetite, etc.

Could this be my brain telling me that I didn't take a pill this week???

I eventually got freaked out I went to the ER last night....everything was normal, heart blood OK, just was dehydrated and had a fever.

Yes, that sounds like withdrawl. Listen, that is exactly how I (and many of us) started: pills once in a while for the euphoria. Next thing you know, you're taking 10 a day. I would be very concerned about this: non-addicts don't seek out pain medication for a high.

Just have faith in yourself by staying confident of your existence and trying to stay as cool as possible. Everything will be alright as the time passes by. Start to get some  mild exercise on a regular basis, will help you to feel better and calm. Especially morning walks! You must take yourself out from this anxious sphere you have created for yourself and live your life freely and wisely. And you will get in control. Stay hydrated !
