I'm 20 yrs old and have been taking pain pills since 9th grade, so I was about 15.u name a pill and I've did it, even started shooting.up a little, these past 4 years however I have been realllly bad on roxys, I take up to 6 30s a day, and the past week or so I've been trying to cut way back, but still after having 1 or 2 30s a day I still feel withdraws, I just don't know what to do I hate withdraws, it makes me want to do so many, I don't know anymore, I can truely say I love roxies, and I know that's horrible, I want so bad to get off them, I just don't know if I ever will be able to, I spend so much money its crazy, 100,000 the past 2 years, 50,000 of my grandparents money, its insane, I have a real bad problem, do any of you have advice.?

If you really want to quit...then you will go thru the withdrawals. If you want to save yourself, you will quit and go thru withdrawals. It is your choice to live or your choice to continue as you are. We will be here for you when you have made your choice. I care and want you clean. You are so young and have so much to live for. But it is your choice.
Hey man I was in the same boat as you. I started taking lorcets and became addicted to them when I was 16. By 17 I had 'stepped up' to roxis, dilaudid, opana, fentanyl and eventually wound up addicted to iv heroin at 19. I also developed an addiction to cocaine when I was 19, which I was mixing (in the same shot) with my heroin for years. I am now 21 and have been clean from all opiates/drugs for almost 8 months.
As far as your habits go, it doesnt surprise me at all that you get withdrawals if you only have 1 or 2 roxis in a day. You have a somewhat heavy habit like I did. I too would start withdrawing if I had anything under a gram of heroin, or 6 roxi30's (only if I didnt have a 100mcg/hr fentanyl patch on), a day. When I got clean I had withdrawals for 10 days. They sucked but I tried to look at it as the price I had to pay for feeling so good (when I was on heroin every day) for so long.
Just know that is possible, especially if you want it. For me, I didnt even want to get clean. I was forced to at the threat of having to start living on the streets.
