i have been up and down this road so many times that the bushes, trees and stones know my name. my advice to you is to go ahead and suffer. get you mind to flip it so that drugs equal pain. let's face it, ultimately and without question for addicts this is a simple fact. i just spent many days with my tail stapled to the couch all alone, said nothing to anyone. flipped flopped, screamed, cried, most likely got fired. i want to remember every agonizing moment. all the emptying out of the puke bucket. all the baths and showers. this time i had to do the full SUFFER. no thomas recipe, no benzos. drugs should not be linked to pleasure in my mind any time soon. my best advice to you is to suffer and remember the suffering. when you want to get high(a condition i pretty much couldn't even achieve anymore) remember the pain it will ultimately cause. a little preachy, sorry. i mean the best for you. if you have a head near as hard as mine, this is the best advice i have. do with it what you will. blessed be, sway
Sounds like you've been down this road before as most of us. Read the PAWS info contained in this site. The physical wds suk but only last a week or so; the really hard part, as you said, is the anxiety, depression, emotional roller-coaster, etc. that occurs after you stop.

I tried subs the same way you are going to attempt-------didn't work for me ----it does take the w/ds away but when you quit the subs even short term I got w/ds from the subs-I was taking 2 mgs tapering to 1/2 mg-------What messed with me the most was anxiety and depression------I had to start taking percs again and then c/t off them-----subs stay in your system a long time-------some people swear by them---------I'm 8 days clean and feeling better everyday after 2 yrs. of addiction----------keep posting---you will get help here----Good luck!
