Possible relapse?????

I have been dreading this post, but I have to do it. I do not want to go into all the details of it, but I need to post. On Friday night, I got into a huge fight with my a$$hole spouse. Let's just say that I was in some major pain and so I took 3 Vicoden. The strength was 5/500....my DOC was Lortab 10/650. I took one pill every four hours starting at 4a.m. and ending at noon Saturday. By Saturday night, my stomach was in so much pain that I couldn't even walk, so I went to the ER, when I got there, my blood pressure was through the roof and they gave me an IV, then I was given 2 doses of Dilaudid (which I had never had before), and then 2 hours later, I got a 3rd dose of Dilaudid. I got a bunch of tests done and all the fun stuff, but my main concern is whether or not this is a relapse? I have not taken anything since the ER visit.

Hey hun,
I truly do not see this as a relapse, You said it yourself, you took the pills for pain not for a high. That in itself says it all to me. Please do not beat yourself up about this, you have done extremely well to get to where you are at this moment in time, a few pills taken for pain does not take away all of that! Keep up the good work and keep on moving in the right direction.....the direction you are in!

I dont think it counts as a relapse and i would not take it off my clean date....that is just getting a bit too technical...not if u continued into the week using and did not get back on track...i think u would be relapsing..we are human and allowed a minor setback without having to start from day 1...i do not think it is good menatlly to look at this as a relapse...but it is up to u...i call it a mild mistake..a bump in the road
