Ok noonein my life is aware of whats going on with me. I have been taking up to 25 vicodin daily. I cut downsometimes but get so sick I can not stop> Dr wants me to try Ultram. He does notknow abouty my addiction by the way. AmI going to have withdrawl if I take ultram instead of vicodin Help I am really scared

u will stil feel the wds taking ultram...u will have to take so many to put a dent in the wds that u will then be addicted to the ultram....can ur doctor help u with a taper from the vicoden?

Read some of the postings on here but it seems to me that Ultram w/d's are worse than Vic's, even though they are suppose to be non-narcotic they are pretty evil.  If you do w/d you will feel horrible, but it goes away.  Some people here have had success with tapering schedules, but I just went c/t tapering to me was just prolonging the agony and I wanted to just get it over with.  How long have you been on the Vic's?
