this is a tai chi breathing technique....first, pictur and infant and how it breathes...its belly extends. why? cause its using all of its lungs to breathe...we forget this as we age. when your belly extends when u breathe, u r filling the lower parts of your lungs also. so, breathein slow, extend your belly as you breathe in...breathe in thru your nose till u can intake no more...count as you do this...1,2,3,4........then, exhale slowly thru your mouth...this should take twice as long as your intake. so, if your count was 4 on the inhale...it should 8 on the exhale. as you breathe in...say to yourself...relax my mind, as you exhale....relax your body...then reapeat this slowly and over and over. it will take time to master, but as a martial artist, i know w practice, this can b a great form of meditation...try to b in a quiet and comfy place. ever wonder why a buddha always looks fat? cause hes breathing right!...dont give up on this. try it. i hope it helps
