Small Victory

Hey all! I had a tiny voctory today. I changed my number and opted to get rid of the dealer and never meet her again. She was texting this morning and sending her account info and wanted me to just send her the money. I thought about it. I'm not gonna lie. But then I started to think of what my life would be like if I quit, and I talked to some inspirational people on here who told me to "Just do it." So, I did. Now, she has no way to contact me and tempt me. She will no doubt be calling the second the money does not come through at 4, and she can no longer get a hold of me, but her calls will be pointless because that is not my # anymore. My husband calls it the ostrach method. I do not mind being an ostrach in this case. I know I still am not even at detox, but I have made the decision to quit. The day is next Thursday. That way I will hit day three an four over the weekend. I will be on here constantly!

Same thing for me. She has an endless perscribed stash, didn't take them, and sold them to me.

Good for you. You just made your first step in getting clean. These people that sell to addicts are greedy predators. Believe me i had one & got rid of him but only after spending thousands. He thought for sure i would be back but i haven't so he just tested me the other day,by texting & then he called. We can't change our phone number because we run our own business. But we have caller id & an answering machine so we just don't pick up when he calls.

I was his best customer & this greedy pr*** is obviously missing my money. He did it out of greed only. He gets them doctor prescribed but does not take any. So it is all profit for him. When i looked back thru our account the last 2 yrs i was shocked at the amount of money that went to this man. My husband even asked him to stop & he didn't so i decided it was time for me to step in & tell him what i thought of him. But then we also had to own up to our own responsibility. He did not put a gun to our head but shaking a full bottle of oxys was just as bad.

Good Luck & God bless
