OK, here goes.

1)  For nausea, get some Phenergan, preferably suppositories so you don't just puke them up. 25 mg. (or even better, 50 mg. or two X 25 mg.)  Script is required but should be easy to get one.  If you can't get a script for Phenergan (suppositories or pills), then get a good over-the-counter nausea pill or liquid and follow the directions.

2)  For diarrhea, get Loperamide HCL (over-the-vounter).  Many varities are available, but I like the CVS Softgels; follow dosing advice on box.

3)  Benadryl for runny nose and eyes (can help with sleep, too).

4)  Some sort of benzodiazapine (Xanax [Alprazolam] works best for me), but others swear by Clonopin (Clonazepam) for the shakes/sweats/jerky arms and legs, and SLEEP!!!

5)  As many hot showers/baths as you can get all day/night lomg  but DON'T fall asleep in the tub!

6)  Eat lots of chocolate (REAL chocolate).

7)  BLAND food as much as you can keep down - bread, Ramen Noodles, plain soups, etc. but stay away from spicy fods of all types.

8)  LOTS of liquids to prevent dehydration from nausea/diarrhea and for nourishment - I prefer white grape juice and apple juice - dilute it with water if you like) and I tolerate V8 juice very well.

9)  As much OUTSIDE exercise - if even just slow walking - that you can tolerate.

10)  Monitor, if you can, your blood pressure, pulse, and blood glucose levels.

11)  Keep some company with you as much as possible.

12)  One a day vitamin, especially B complex ones.

13)  Read your Bible if you are so inclined, and pray a LOT.

14)  Be VERY careful with the Benzodiazipines (Xanax, Valiun, Clonopin, etc. as these have synergystic effects with Opiates.

15)  Antidepressant if you have a script for one.

NONE of the above is medical advice, merely my personal experiences.  ALWAYS consult a physician.

Good Luck and God bless you.

what is ur daily dose of oxy?  thing is u r gonna feel some wd...no pain free way out but u can put all the balls in ur court and fight it it hard..make it do-able

i used exercise daily and the thomas recipe..i also posted an article in the health pages on internet sites that help//make sure u have a few down days/depends on ur dose/and stock up on immodium and the aminos..make sure u have sumpin for anxiety and sleep..for most physical wds are over in less than a week...for me it was 4 days from a 100 mg a day habit for 4 yrs..we r all different

cutting off supply is majorly important....flushing any pills left in ur reach is crucial...no refills at the pharmacy/cut ur dealer off..not sure of ur situation....find some aftercare like counseling or meetings...and most of all make a plan and stick with it...keep posting

The wd's are going to happen no matter what.  Warm showers or baths for aches, immodium for diarrhea, vitamin water is good and so are bananas.  Eat very bland food if you have an upset stomach.  Get some vitamins B-6 and B-12 or check out the amino acids in the health pages.  Also try and get some exercise even if it is just walking around outside.  Go into this with a positive attitude.  That will help too.  We have to go thru this to get the toxins out of our bodies.  You can and will get thru this.  It is tough but very doable.  I have been clean for 535 plus days and i had been using some sort of substance for 30 plus years.  It can be done.  Dont be afraid of this.  We will be here to help and support you..........sara
