Time for a change

I am 24 years old and my entire life i have been battling addiction. Lately i have found myself really deep into prescription meds and it seems like it has completely taken over and ruined my life.  I was an athlete and a musician.  I have not participated in either in over a year.  I feel i have hit a new low, rock bottom.  I used to be a fun and loving charismatic human being.  Now i am constantly lacking energy, sex drive and happiness.  Massively depressed and feelings of worthlessness.  I have ruined myself and my life and everyone around me because of this addiction, let alone my wallet.  I am now ready for a change, Im seeking for my old self and would love any advice from anyone that has gone through this.  I am preparing to go on soboxen.  Any info about it would be greatly appreciated.  I feel all alone in this.  Please tell me there is a light at the end of this tunnel...

I have tried many times, before i resorted to oxicontin i was on roxicodone at 5 or 6 a day ( snorting ) with 7-10 1000 mg percocets into the equation.  So you can honestly say i was on a destructive path. Eventually i realixed that this wasnt enough so i slowly mixed oxy's into the equation.  After months of abuse this became my life.  I tried cold turkey and my entire life i had been  strong willed and psychologically fit for big obstacles and i made it to day 2 . Then came the sickness, real bad.  I was vomitting, stomach pains, sweating, horrible chills, insomnia, anxiety. It was relentless. I tried very hard to be strong but i was shaking under my covers sweating.  So i fell in ive tried comming off slowly by cutting the dose and that doesnt work it only makes it worse.  So my last chance is suboxen. And after day1 i feel awsome about it kuz i made it through the day without cravings and mild withdrawls

Make sure you fully educate yourself on Sub before starting it. What kind of meds have you been doing? How often, how many?  Have you tried quiting before? If so, how (cold turkey or tapper) and how long did you make it?
There is a light at the end of the tunnel. You can repair your life and it won't take very long.
If you have never really tried to quit the drugs on your own before, I'd truly recommend going that route before the Sub route. Sub is highly addictive and can be harder to come off of than your original drug of choice. If you have any other questions about Sub, you can PM me.
Make sure you read a lot of the posts about Sub and all the other methods of detoxing. Keep posting, everyone here will help you thru this.
