Hi rodbird, just a little more reassurance that it is normal. As long as it is slightly higher then you should be fine. The same thing happened to me too and after a couple of months it corrected itself.

You're doing great!

Yea, Usually before the devil pill I would be around 77-82 beats at rest however as you without the drugs life has its pressures. It sounds as though it all apart of the healing process. My BP at night is around 110 over 73. Slightly lower when I check it in the morning.

Congrats on day 18! Normal resting heart rate is between 40 and 100 bpm. You were right about being slightly above the normal range. Of course, if it stays like that for a while or you are concerned, it certainly wouldn't hurt to check with your doctor. Heart rate and blood pressure do tend to go up if you are in pain. My pain management doctor can tell when I am hurting based on that.

You're doing great!

I had the same experience...episodes of my heart beating really fast during withdrawal...then you get freaked out and it goes even higher...thankfully I found others on here who had had the same symptom and that calmed me down...like gnarly said...it does get better...good luck!
