I have 20 methadone pills...10 mg...how would I detox off of heroin that I been on for a year?

I'm clean 30 days today from methadone after over 4 yrs of use I cold turkeyed that and kilonopin and I'm gonna tell you these guys r right methadone is hell withdrawals don't take em heroin leaves ur system in a quarter the time, get the right diet and regimen from us, dig ur feet in and you WILL see results and feel better b4 u know it and I promise it won't kill u but the heroin will.... U got this and were here if u need us...

I agree with ABN you don't need the pills, go for it, just make sure you have some kind of support for when you get through the detox, I've done a few Heroin detox's and it was always after I slipped up. Heroin will leave your system much faster as its not synthetic. Stick close to this site for advice and support it will help more than you know. Best of luck to you, go grab your life back. I dont know about the methadone nor do I think anyone here is allowed to give you dosing advice regarding the pills you have. That should be done under the care of a doc.

Now the heroin....well that's a different story. I'm here to tell you that you can detox successfully without methadone. I'm living proof! Ive went cold turkey off ungodly amounts of heroin use for lengthy periods of time (years) and am here to talk about it. (I didnt die) Yeah, it hurt a little....but its doable. You can do it! Stay plugged into this site and there will be so many people that will literally hold your hand through the process!. Forget about the methadone! Plush it! You may just end up addicted to that and in a worse detox situation. Yeah...detoxing from methadone....SHEEEEESH!
