Day 3. Upset tummy and no energy

I can't believe how weak I am and I can't eat anything with out getting sick.  Worst of all, my back is keeping me in bed for the most part.  I know everyone is different but what is the average length before people start feeling better?

You are in the "thick" of it, girl.  At 3 days, the toxins are coming out and the rebound pain is on high alert!  I know how horrible it is....but just know that days 3-5 are usually the toughest to endure.
More important than ANYTHING, since you can't eat, is to STAY hydrated.  Even if you just take sips every 30 minutes or so.  Water and Gatorade or something with electrolytes is important.  If you can't eat solid foods, many people drink Boost or Ensure or Carnation Instant Breakfast.  Any type of protein drink is good as it feeds our brains.
You just keep posting and keep believing this too shall pass....

Everyone is different, but average is 7-10 days for the physical par . I'm day 6 today and I feel a lot better today physically... You can do this.. I have daily pain and I'm accepting that that is a part of my life and my recovery! I can never see a pill again.. I'm working on 6-12 yrs of heavily addicted and large amounts consumed. I thought the 1st 4 days I was either gonna die or relapse. I'm thinking of all the good that is coming and that keeps me pushing thru.. Best of luck. I'm here for you. I'll say prayers for you today...
