Trying to detox of heroin methadone percocet and tramadol
Hi I'm 16 and my name is Luca. I'm trying to detox off of heroin methadone percocet and tramadol. My parental units don't know nor can they ever. So far I've been puking my guts up and a whole other list of crap. Inpatient detox is out cuz like I said my parents can't know. Can anyone help me? I don't know what to do. I really need the help
Oh honey you are so young I hate to hear that, how long have you been using these drugs? I'm a recovering herion addict myself so I know how it feels so sorry you are going through this but please try to do this now and stay away from drugs. You are in for a life of hell if you keep using especially herion!

Dude....that's an awful lot of stuff to be coming off of at one time. My suggestion, as a parent, would be to TELL your parental units so they can observe you in case something happens. In fact, I would think your parents will see it anyway b/c your going to be sick for awhile...so what are your reasons for not wanting to tell them. I'm sure I can figure that out but I thought it might help if you write them out.....I'm sure your petrified to tell them but at this point I think most parents would help. They might chew you a new *** later, but for now, your sick.....they can help. I'm not sure this is a detox you should be doing at home? Are you out of everything.....meaning are you doing this b/c you want to quit or b/c you've run out? Write back as soon as you can.....your awfully young....you don't need to start this roller coaster of **** if you can get off now....

Do you want to quit??? Or do u just not have access to anything at the moment? Please try to get some help to quit your in for a lifetime of hell if your addiction isn't stopped now. How is your brother now? Or did he pass from the od?
Hi there- You may get pretty sick so your parents will know then...For now, be sure to stay hydrated. I know you're vomiting so just take A SIP of water every few minutes and don't eat anything. Keep taking just sips and/or some ice chips for four hours and if no further vomiting,increase the liquid. If you can hold down several ounces of water, progress to Gatorade and some crackers.

My brother was addicted to heroin he overdosed and died. He dead gone six feet under pushing daisies. Y does it ******* matter?

Ok....so this situation does suck, but i dont think your going to have a choice but to detox, however, if your parents just dealt with your brother oding i am hoping they're going to see the signs....i understand you dont want to tell your parents, but do u think they want to take the chance of having another kid od? The amount of dope thats going to be coming out of you is alot....do u have a friend that can help you? Watch you? You might be feeling the h w/d now...in 2/3 days your going to feel the methadone.

I told my grandpa and he said I just gotta let it get outta my system. The problem being I HATE throwing up. The other crap I can deal with.

What if they get pissed? I feel bad that they lost one kid and now they may lose me. That's y I don't wanna tell them. I feel like they already have so much to deal with and I don't wanna be a burden you know?

No offense, but older people see things differently. They remember "ok, i need to dry out for awhile" and this is similar but different. The throwing up is going to be here for awhile so the sips of water for sure. Not to be gross, but i wasnt spewing from that "end" so i used immodium. Hydration right now is going to be key b/c if you let it go too far, you will feel soooo much worse. The confusion is normal. Do you have the ability to just lay down and relax, go take hot bath and fill tub with epsom salts (helps you get magnesium back in your body). Your going to feel like ****....cant get around that. Keep a cold wet cloth with you and keep it on the back of your neck. Right now, you just need to let your body get this **** out...

So I can do this by myself WITHOUT telling my parents? Their psychologists so it would be a whole deally with them.
Hang in there man. I was an opiate addict for 7 years. I LOVE ROXY'S ....150mg/day habit. It cost me a job, wife, kids and tons and tons of money. I tried to kick it alone once and it was too much for me to handle alone. I struggles with IMMENSE pain and withdrawls for over a week and then relapsed bc I used alcohol to help and get all drunk one night and blasted 5 blueberries. After another year and half of being a helpless addict I got on suboxone that helped bridge the quitting. I used subs for a year and then slowly weened down to where one strip lasted me about a week and a half n then just quit.....it's been 5 months since I've been clean from it all and I still have NO energy and have trouble sleeping but...I AM FREE......just don't feel your alone man and know your parents would rather know what u r going through and help you rather then lose another son.....my email is ***@****,,,hmu if you need some help or advise or just someone to talk to man.....these so much to life past addiction and u will c clear after time...good luck an

Lol....to get the bad **** out and your body's telling you your a jerk for what you've done to it! Your body is pissed, but it will heal!
I wanted to tell you there isnt one single person in here that doesnt totally understand the position you find yourself in right now! We've all done what your getting ready to do. I would also venture that MOST of us are older than you so can see, from an outside perspective, how important it is to have your parents involved. Its hard for u to see cause your in it....totally in it....i can also totally see if my parents were psychologists, where there would be total fear in telling them. A child is NEVER a burden....your sick....and i can imagine your drug use to a sharp, rapid turn for the worse once you lost your brother....its not unheard of. Were all human.

I told my parents. I decided to get it over with. I'm grounded indefinitely and their taking me to a clinic tommoro to see if I can detox at home
