Hello everyone, sorry I have been gone back now and much better

Hey to all my friends I have left in the dark for the past couple of weeks I'm sorry. I am back and doing much better after taking more and more vic and tramadol (bad I know) I finally decided that I just couldn't do this on my own and went to see a dr. and am now taking Suboxone. It has helped me sooooo much, I no longer have any cravings and I'm not  on that much and the dr. says I shouldn't need to be on it long, (4mg twice a day) I think something like that. I just couldn't stay off the pills the desire was too strong and taking the Sub. gets rid of the desire. The only down side is that its very expensive my insurance doesn't pay for anything, I had to pay 150.00 for my 1st dr. visit and then the first day of pills was 30.00 and then I had to go the next day and pick up more and for 20 pills is was 260.00, then I see him every 10 days at 75.00 per visit. I just have to plan financially! I just wanted to let you all know whats been going on and I'm back now for good! Luv and Hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Missy, Thats great news! I hear alot of great things about suboxone, only wish it were available to me prior to getting on methadone. I almost went on it a few weeks ago, but after speaking with my addition specialist he claimed it works great for many people, but didnt feel I was a good canidate for this medication, due to my low dose of methadone & also I have abstained from opiate use for 5 years. Which I found odd, but it is what it is. Good Luck!!!
