Hi Blondie, thanks for sharing and being honest. When first started getting cleaned up I needed to be surrounded by people were supportive and actively recovering. I learned a lot by listening and also making mistakes. The point is I learned. I need to do something on a daily basis for my recovery. Keeps me moving in the right direction, otherwise I start heading back to the old way of life. Somebody mentioned aftercare, AA, or Na meetings. These are all great suggestions, maybe it's time to try one?
Like everyone else said change your phone number and get rid of his. If you are serious about staying clean those things should have already been done. Not to sound harsh but it is the truth. We are all here for you.
I have done that many times and I felt so guilty that I made the call, that I relapsed shortly after. Do whatever it takes right now to stay clean, I am worried that this could take you down. Relapse happens before we pick up that drug most times. Why do you still have the dealers number? Please be careful, using is not an option. Glad you posted tho. Stay strong and keep talking. Your worth it:) Stay strong.
I'm also very glad you did not relapse.. but you are going to have to change something up.. be honest with those closest to you.. you need to be accountable to someone in your life.. delete numbers. change who you hang with. you have a war going on with yourself. once you make a firm commitment and except you can not use again it helps. the brain is a powerful tool.. if college join a aa our na support group associated with the school.. believe me their will be many you can identify with.. even a addiction counselor.. take care of you for no one else can.. lesa
Hi,
I am glad you didn't relapse but you need to do something for yourself to prevent it. Coming here and telling us about it is great but it was almost after the fact. You have been around here long enough to hear us talk about aftercare, right? So what do you think?
