WITHDRAW FROM MS CONTIN VS OXYCODON

I take 45 mg of Morphine twice a day, that's a combination of 30 mg and 15 mg and 3 x's a day 15 mg oxycodone. Before I try to withdraw and see how I feel without pain meds. I do have a question.  Which has the worst withdrawal symptoms?  Oxycodone or Morphine.  I have already stopped the oxycodone.  I'm more or less curious about this subject.  I often have read debates on the different forums.  Hope you all had a wonderful holiday.  Thanks

I will start this after the first of the year.  For sure I will ask you for help!  Not looking forward to this!  Have to see if I can cope with my pain issues.  I know I am addicted to this med.  Thanks Again.  Roxi

welcome to the forum .....Well you will get a lot of debate here but I think the oxy is the harder of the 2 morphine has a short 1/2 life nether one is going to be any fun but we do home detoxes all the time we can walk you threw one you may want to go to the lower right of this page and look up the Thomas recipe and pick up the stuff suggested might want to add some highland restful legs stuff in there to....this is all about attitude so go into it with a positive attitude a good hot soak helps most of the symptoms be ready to not sleep for a week and get comfortable with the saying ....''you just got to be ok without being ok for a wile'' the symptoms are only temporary keep posting for support as you go threw this we all want to see you succeed good luck and God bless......Gnarly
