ME EX ALSO CAN'T SEEM TO GIVE ME STRAIGHT, CONSITENT ANSWERS. SAID HE WAS GOING TO A WORK CAMP FOR 3 MONTHS AND WE WOULD HAVE NO CONTACT. THEN HE SAID IT WAS REHAB. HE LEFT 2 MONTHS EARLY. SAID HIS DAD KICKED HIM OUT. DROVE DOWN HERE AND STAYED FOR WEEK WITHOUT A PENNY TO HIS NAME. HE WENT BACK TO TN SO HE COULD WORK FOR A MONTH AND SAVE MONEY TO MOVE DOWN HERE. HE CAME 2 WEEKS TOO EARLY. HE IS ANGRY WITH ME B/C I COULDN'T LET HIM STAY WITH ME WHEN HE GOT HERE. HE HAD NO RESPECT FOR ME AKING HIM TO WAIT. NOW HE IS REALLY BROKE, NO PHONE, NOWHERE TO SLEEP OR SHOWER, BUT HAS A JOB.  I FEEL SO TERRIBLE, BUT IN TEN YEARS I HAVE APART FROM HIM, I LED A TOTALLY DIFFERENT LIFE, HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT HEROIN ADDICTION OR THE SIGNS IF HE IS STILL USING. BLAMES HIS MOOD SWINGS ON BEING BIPOLAR, HIS FAMILY TURNING HIM AWAY, BEING HUNGRY. HE SMOKES A TON OF CIGARETTES AND HE CAN'T SIT STILL!!!!  AGAIN, I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I AM AFRAID TO GET BACK TOGETHER WITH HIM AFTER SO MANY YEARS AND THE ADDICTION HE MAY STILL HAVE!!!

I'ts Random again, don't get back together with him...I didn't know anything about heroin, until my ex from high school came into my life.  It's so scary and it's a life long addiction that needs to be worked on forever.  The lies never stop while they are using...if he's smoking a lot and not sitting still all the things you are describing sound like he is using again!  It won't ever stop until he gets help, and who knows if he ever will.  His parents have probably had enough of him and he has no where to turn anymore...addicts lie to people so much they wear them out.  seriously don't start messing with him, write me if you want to know anything else.

Sorry you're going thru this. I would trust your gut instinct...seems to me like he's still using. Do yo want to go back to that life style?? I would make him  prove himself before I would let him move back into my life or my house!!! Keep posting..you'll get a lot of info on this forum..i don't really know much about heroin. More should be along soon!
