Hi hon:
Everyone is different, but in general, once you stop completely, you will have acute withdrawals for about 4-7 days. For me, they lasted a bit longer...10-14 days. But every day is better than the last.
You are having cravings...it is so important that you set up some sort of after-care for yourself. A 12 step group, therapy, something. Getting off these drugs is one thing, but the REAL battle is STAYING off. Without some sort of outside help, chance of relapse is very high.
Hang in there...you're down to one pill a day...I'd flush them rest and just jump off them. We're here to help you thru the withdrawals....good luck.
It is the high I crave more then anything. I loved that feeling. With two little ones running around I felt like I always had that to keep me going. That must be though getting off then having to go back on them. I am prescribed them bc of a hip problem I have had since I became pregnant with my second. He weighed 10lbs and I was too small have him naturally if that tells you anything lol. Anyway, my dr prescribed them for this problem I am having. Before this was a hysterectomy, before that was a hernia I got from being, and before the babies I took them recreationally. I could shut it off at anytime. I hate not being able to do that. So now I'm desperate and busting my *** trying to wean myself. So far so good. Only taking one a day. I'm just curious how long I will have to keep doing this until I won't have any withdraw symptoms. Mostly the depression and the mental state. How long will it be?? Do you know?
Is it the pills you are craving??
I am on day 2 for my second time. It will get better. I am going CT because I can not trust myself to wean off of them. If I have them I take them. Check out the Thomas recipe it will help you out. I had no choice in going back on the pills fell off my horse. You can do this and stay on here and post you heart out it really does help!
